It is easy for importers of lead-acid batteries in vehicles or industry to join the producer organisation of Akkukierrätys Pb Oy: you only need to sign a producer agreement on transferring producer responsibility. The organisation treats all producers equally and all agreements with producers have the same content. So far, already 276 importers of lead-acid batteries and equipment and vehicles that contain lead-acid batteries have transferred their producer responsibilities to Akkukierrätys Pb Oy.
By transferring its producer responsibility, a company can handle its producer responsibilities as defined in the Waste Act easily, cost-effectively and reliably.
